Construction of Quran Schools (Madrasa)
Under the funding of Global Support, MICO managed to bring to the Muslim community of Kinduni village in the island of Unguja, Zanzibar, a modern, seven classrooms building for local Quran school (or Madrasa as commonly known in Zanzibar islands). This is now in operation serving the local community and the nearby communities. This construction spent 60, 000, 000/= (Sixty Million Tanzanian Shillings) equivalent to 23,500 British Pounds.
Since June this year, the pupils have started using the building and is a boarding Madrassa.
